In the "Save as" dialog, in the "Images, Styles ans Scripts" tab, it is possible to write in the "Where to save images" box, but not in the "... resources" one. 
Both should act the same way, being writable, like the "Document location" box in the "Document" tab. 

Amaya 1.3.1 in Windows XP

Steps: With any document opened ...
 1- Menu file > save as
 2- "Save as" dialog opens
 3- Select the "Images, Styles ans Scripts" tab
 4- Try to modify the text under "Where to save resources": you can't
