Description Andrew Eisenberg 2010-03-23 21:55:21 UTC
Section 1, Introduction, says:

"The most recent versions of the XQueryX XML Schema and the XQueryX XSLT stylesheet are available at http://www.w3.org/2008/12/XQueryX/xqueryx.xsd and http://www.w3.org/2008/12/XQueryX/xqueryx.xsl, respectively."

These links have not been updated since the last publication.

Thanks for reporting this problem. There are actually two problems that are relevant here.

The first is that the most recent Working Draft of XQueryX 1.1 -- http://www.w3.org/TR/2009/WD-xqueryx-11-20091215/ -- contains incorrect references to the schema and stylesheet. Both are linked to the directory http://www.w3.org/2008/12/XQueryX/ because of a typo, but should have been linked to http://www.w3.org/2009/12/XQueryX/ (the correct year/month of WD publication). I cannot, of course, correct that error without republishing the documents. When we next republish, those links will be updated to reference the proper directory for that next WD publication.

The second is that the two files were not copied into the correct directory. That error can be fixed and has been.

As a result of fixing the fixable error and explaining the other one, I've taken the liberty of marking this bug RESOLVED/FIXED and ask that you mark it CLOSED if you agree with this response.

Sorry, but I've tried to access both files:

http://www.w3.org/2009/12/XQueryX/xqueryx.xsd
http://www.w3.org/2009/12/XQueryX/xqueryx.xsl

I receive "Sorry, Insufficient Access Privileges".

Fixed, thanks for pointing that out.
