Comment:
Must not contain periods(".") de id and class, (and posible not #, :, {) 
because is not accesible from CSS . example in html  id="name.last" in CSS

last.  In html is possible use periods in the id and is not too coherent when
using CSS

#abc\.def works. Also, this would be a problem for the Selectors specification, not for HTML.
