It appears people are confused by the fact that the W3C version of HTML5 names two authors, while the WHATWG version only names one. The WHATWG version seems to be accurate to me. Proposal: align the W3C version with it, removing the name "David Hyatt". (He might deserve special mention in the Acknowledgments, though).
I agree with the proposal.
