Hi,
I want to know, if link validator will work for private liks? The link 
validator needs the URL of the site, which is public. The site which I am 
working on is private and hence the link validator was not able to check the 
links. Is there any way by which the link validator can check the private site??

What do you mean by "private" exactly? Does it require HTTP Authorization? Or 
Cookies? Or access from a specific host and/or IP address range? Or maybe it 
requires physical access to the host?

The site is on intranet... its not available to all..like yahoo, hotmail..

The Link checker is available for download. You could install it on your private network.
