Thanks for the report, this has been fixed in the development version of the validator and will most likely go live with the upcoming 0.8.6 release.

Off topic, note however that the "proprietary XML output mode" (output=xml) has been deprecated for a long time now and will be removed in the next validator version.  Use the web service API instead (output=soap12).

I used to use the old XML output mode in my Firefox extension Validaty:

but I've updated it now to use the new soap12 output.

Fix included (and old XML output gone) in 0.8.6.
