1. Add some text in ariel, courier, and times
2. Click on the text in each of these sections
3. Note that the Style tool is not updated to reflect the current selected content

Also, it is pretty easy to make a mess of things by repeatedly changing the font (due (to nes(t)ed sp)an tags).  It would be very helpful to have a smarter system that avoids nested span tags where possible.
