Andi to look at input from Apple review of Steven's Safari test matrix and see if it is applicable to mapping tables.
Comment 2 Andi Snow-Weaver 2009-09-28 18:40:10 UTC
Have done mappings for Role Mapping table per Steven's testing and input from Apple.

The role mappings that Aaron had done were all NSAccessibility (Cocoa) APIs. The mappings from Steven's testing and feedback from Apple are all AXxx (Carbon) APIs. But the state/property mappings Aaron had done were all AX (Carbon). I've changed the role mappings to AX (Carbon) APIs so now they are at least all consistent. But is it correct to use the AX (Carbon) APIs?
Comment 3 Andi Snow-Weaver 2009-11-16 22:21:15 UTC
Carbon APIs are low level APIs and are the ones reported by inspection tool. Need Apple help to update to Cocoa APIs.

Bug 8148 opened to track updating the mappings to Cocoa API.
