[As pointed out in Bug 4447 comment #6...]

In the XQuery 1.0 and XPath 2.0 specs, in appendix B.2, in the Binary Operators table,
 2 references to "op:hex-binary-equal" should be "op:hexBinary-equal", and
 2 references to "op:base64-binary-equal" should be "op:base64Binary-equal".

You're right. I will fix this in XQuery 1.1, and leave it open on XQuery 1.0 / XPath 2.0, since there is currently no 3ed to fix this in.
