Description Oliver Hallam 2009-05-13 17:20:27 UTC
The recently added "fn-element-with-id-*" tests make use of the function element-with-id.

According to the errata (FO.E31), this function is optional and so an XPST0017 error is also an acceptable result.

I disagree. I expect an implementation that doesn't support an optional feature to fail the tests for that feature.

Looking at these test cases, I note that they are in the Schema Import Feature group. I think that they'd be better placed in their own group in the Optional Features group. This will help us ee more clearly the adoption of this function.

Fixed bug 6904 by moving element-with-id tests to a separate test group in the catalog
