Description C. M. Sperberg-McQueen 2009-03-07 22:53:27 UTC
In http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-xml-schema-comments/2009JanMar/0173.html
(email to the XML Schema comments list sent 7 March 2009), Wayne Carr writes:

IEEE 754-2008 was approved in August 2008. In section 3.3.4 precisionDecimal
"the expected forthcoming revision of IEEE/ANSI 754" should change to
    IEEE 754-2008.

I am making this Bugzilla entry in order to track this correction.

The WG approved the fix in http://www.w3.org/XML/Group/2004/06/xmlschema-2/datatypes.dp090225.html with one amendment. The amendment has been incorporated in the XML master, and is awaiting republishing of a status quo document.
Comment 3 C. M. Sperberg-McQueen 2009-04-21 18:09:27 UTC
The update has been integrated into the status quo document.
