Description Li Li 2009-01-14 17:50:55 UTC
WS-Eventing Appendix I proposes this attribute to annotate WSDL port types to indicate the outbound operations in the port type are events. This attribute is not needed because all outbound operations in a port type can be treated as events. The scope of this attribute is also incomplete because some individual event sources are defined by XML elements instead of port types.

We recommend W3C Semantic Annotations for WSDL and XML Schema attribute that works for various WSDL components:
 	sawsdl:modelReference=http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2004/08/eventing/EventSource

For example, to annotate a port type as follows:
<wsdl:portType sawsdl:modelReference=http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2004/08/eventing/EventSource >

</wsdl:portType>

To annotate an element as follows:
<xsd:element name=monitorCrossRefID  sawsdl:modelReference=http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2004/08/eventing/EventSource >

</xsd:element>
