the hsl color syntax described in the css3-color module are not yet supported by the CSS validator.

Fixed (need to produce positive and negative tests for that).

Also, need to fix the definition of background-color to allow such colors.

background-color and background fixed as well wrt css3-color values (rgba, hsl, hsla)
