Description Klaus 2008-11-13 09:43:59 UTC
when using Amaya for a Chinese text many characters are not displayed correctly - though the internal representation seems to be OK. Proof: Copy and paste of the Text to another program displays the chars correctly - Copy and paste back to Amaya shows them as rectangles again.

I hope it is an easy fix because the W3C China Office wants to use Amaya to maintain its web site.

Hi Klaus,

Can you tell us the date of the version you are using (command Help > About Amaya) ?
A new font library has been added since the last snapshot (10.1-pre5, dated Oct 17 2008) and it works fine for me with your testcase.

Thanks,
Laurent
