This is an archived snapshot of W3C's public bugzilla bug tracker, decommissioned in April 2019. Please see the home page for more details.
When I validate the above page using the on-screen validation button, it reports two errors on the page. These errors did exists, but were fixed several days ago, however using the validation button, the validator still appears to be reporting on the old source. Loading the page in a browser and examining the source shows that the errors are no longer present, and when the source is directly input into the validator, it reports no errors.
the validator checks what it receives, and sends HTTP headers specifically asking for fresh content. If a server still sends back stale content, there's not much we can do. Not a bug with the validator AFAICT.
