Long links in status line are not completly displayed at their end. As the end is often mostly relevant, can't it be split in the middle like : http://www.amaya.org/dist...le/mac.html Thanks, Pascal.
Hi Pascal, It's not an easy feature to implement as it depends on several parameters (status bar length, characters size) and it is quite impossible to determine in any cases the relevant part of the uri to be displayed (for instance, most of the longs uris contain parameters at the end that are not pertinent for the user). If you click on the 'Link' button, the dialog displays the whole uri. Thanks
Hello. In last Amaya 11.2-pre3, I see that the html tag line gets this feature: 3 dots appears at the beginning when the display zone is too short. Is it really so hard to do the same on the link display? Regarding the relevant part of the link, I do agree with you. Maybe an option in preferences should answer to this question: "When truncated link, display in status bar: beginning - end - both" With my encouragements for making Amaya always better. Pascal.

The fix will be available in Amaya 11.2-pre4.
