I believe that 3.10.3 is intended to apply to xs:anyAttribute as well as to xs:any. So it should say "In addition to the conditions imposed on <any> and <anyAttribute> element information items..."

(But I might be wrong. The information relating to anyAttribute is scattered randomly among the sections for ComplexType, AttributeGroup, and Wildcard. It would be good to bring it together in one place; or at least to improve the cross-referencing.)

On 2008-10-24, the working group adopted a proposal to address this issue by
- Making the suggested change
- Moving "XML Representation Summary" for <anyAttribute> from 3.4 (complex type) to 3.10 (wildcard)
