The wording proposal mentioned in comment #3 was adopted by the XML Schema WG during its telcon of 19 December 2008. Accordingly, I'm marking the issue RESOLVED. And in view of Felix Sasaki's remark in comment #4, I'll also close the issue on his behalf.
