This is an archived snapshot of W3C's public bugzilla bug tracker, decommissioned in April 2019. Please see the home page for more details.
The moki document does not record the source of an image or object retrieval -- the document that contains a reference which caused it to be retrieved. It does not record the line(s) on which these images and objects are referenced. This may be useful information for tools and developers to help locate and fix problems with, for example, too many external items referenced. (moved from tracker)
Since the test results already show this info, I'm less motivated to make this change. These objects are almost always referenced by the main doc; CSS stylesheets can too, in a rare case. One retrieved object may be referenced multiple times too, making it a little odd to say it came from one reference only in the document.
This is actually required for implement mobileOK Basic, afaict: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-mobileok-checker/2008Jun/0003.html
