ACTION 2006-12-08.1: Structures editors to draft text to resolve concern raised in Noah's note at http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Member/w3c-xml-schema-ig/2006Dec/0002.html, bring to WG for review or report failure. (rq-17/a2)
The action described instructs the editors to propose a change or to admit failure. I admit faillure: I am not able to find an alternative wording that addresses NM's confusion without introducing more confusion, nor one that is readable. So I propose that we close this issue without further action.
In August and September 2009 the XML Schema working group performed triage on the remaining open issues in a WBS poll [1], whose results are summarized at [2] and accepted formally at [3]. In the course of that triage we decided to close this issue without further action. Since this is a WG issue, not an external one, I'm going both to mark it resolved and to close it.
