Description Sandy Gao 2007-10-04 18:32:21 UTC
When SML model documents are included in an SML-IF document, they may have associated digital signatures, and these signatures may become invalid if the enclosed documents are altered in certain ways.

Should IF impose a requirement that, when documents are included in IF, they never need to be modified in a way not compatible with XML Canonicalization?

Or should the above be allowed, and indicate that digital signatures are (should be) generated *after* the modifications are made?

Or should IF not view this as a requirement and be silent about it?
