Description John Arwe 2007-09-30 14:55:44 UTC
Change definition of model:
(1) add space after M-dash
(2) "def docs" -> "model definition documents"
(3) "instance docs" -> "model instance documents"

Add 2 definitions, after Model Instance:
Rule Document
A rule document is a model definition document consisting of Schematron rules that conforms to SML's profile of Schematron.

Schema Document
A schema document is a model definition document that conforms to the [ref: XML Schema http://www.w3.org/TR/2004/REC-xmlschema-1-20041028/#key-schemaDoc] definition of the same name.

Change def: "Model Definition" -> "Model Definition Documents"
in its text, change second sentence from
"This specification defines two types of model definition document - Schema documents that conform to XML Schema and rule documents that conform to SML's profile of Schematron but permits implementations to define other types of model definition documents. "
to
"This specification defines two types of model definition documents, Schema documents and rule documents, but permits the definition other types of model definition documents. "

Change def: "Model Validation"
from "The model validation is the process of verifying..."
to "Model validation is the process of verifying..."

Change def: "Model Validator"
add full stop (period) at end

fixed

Also changed the following to match the definition of 'model definition documents'

from :

Model Instance

A model instance is the subset of documents in a model that describe the structure and content of the modeled entities.

to:

Model Instance Documents

The subset of documents in a model that describes the structure and content of the modeled entities.

I have also slightly updated 'Schema document' definition from what was initially proposed under the defect description

John's proposal :

Schema Document
A schema document is a model definition document that conforms to the [ref: XML
Schema http://www.w3.org/TR/2004/REC-xmlschema-1-20041028/#key-schemaDoc]
definition of the same name.

Current content :

Schema document

A schema document is a model definition document that conforms to the XML Schema specification [XML Schema Structures] definition of a schema document.
