Description Sandy Gao 2007-09-13 20:27:24 UTC
There are places in the spec that indicates "sml:acyclic" are specified on element declaration, but there are other places suggesting complex type definitions. Which one is correct?

I think it should only be complex type definitions. Note that all examples have sml:acyclic on complex types.
Comment 1 Pratul Dublish 2007-09-13 22:30:21 UTC
sml:acyclic should be allowed on complex-type definitions only. Please point out the places in the spec that indicate sml:acyclic may be specified on element declarations so that we can fix them
Comment 2 Sandy Gao 2007-09-19 17:53:03 UTC
Search for "element declaration" in section "8.1.1 sml:acyclic".
Comment 3 Pratul Dublish 2007-09-20 16:39:45 UTC
I don't see any occurence of "element declaration" in section 8.1.1 in the latest editor's draft of SML spec

Pratul, I fixed this already in the second draft
I'll assign the defect to me, mark it second draft, editorial and set status to fix
Comment 5 Valentina Popescu 2007-09-20 17:02:46 UTC
Changed sml.xsd ( comment section ) and 8.1.1 to refer to complex type as the only option for specifying sml:acyclic
