False error is being generated intermittently (not 100% of the time) with same code. --> This page is not Valid (no Doctype found)! when html is actually valid. Can't reproduce. Validating the page mentioned above yields positive results, finding the XHTML 1.0 Transitional doctype and validating against it. I suspect you found a fixed the issue.
