Abel Braaksma (<abel.online@xs4all.nl>) points out that IEEE has removed the link we used to IEEE 754-1985.

This bug relates to 1.0, but not to 1.1 (which fixes the broken link
by pointing to the root of the IEEE site). Accordingly, I'm changing
the version field value here.

On 17 August 2007 the WG agreed that an erratum should be issued
for 1.0, noting (in plain text) that the old link is broken and
providing the same link as in 1.1.

As of July 2008 the editors have not yet prepared the erratum; other things have taken
higher priority.
