After adding the validation confirmation images and links to my site, the validator picked up errors, and these were with the code that i copied and pasted directly from your site there are missing elements in YOUR markup

You included HTML-style markup in an XHTML homepage. As far as I know, both CSS and Markup Validators will have a mention of this difference of syntax, which you probably overlooked. Both will also give the XHTML markup by default, so I'm not even sure how you picked the HTML-style code.

Do you have any suggestion for a better/clearer explanation of how to use and include that code?
