Description John Arwe 2007-06-24 16:51:42 UTC
current text "Element nodes are serialized directly into their XML document order representation..."

is this "are" a MUST, SHOULD, or MAY?
Comment 1 Valentina Popescu 2007-08-28 17:50:02 UTC
Agreed to move this to LC ( f2f meeting )
Comment 2 Virginia Smith 2007-10-16 22:47:57 UTC
Resolution: use MUST
Comment 3 Virginia Smith 2007-10-19 07:08:42 UTC
New text is in section 6.1.4. It now reads:

The nodes in the node set MAY be serialized in any order. Element nodes MUST be serialized directly into their XML representation and attribute nodes MUST be serialized by using the smlerr:attributeNode element.
