Description Michael Rys 2006-11-01 00:38:30 UTC
Provide example for "without wildcard" too

Does it get to be a token boundary? Probably implementation defined. Please clarify.

Per ACTION-FTTF-137-02, I propose resolving this bug by

1) Adding the following example as a fourth example:
The following expression returns false, because the p element does not contain "w.ll":
/book[@number="1"]/p ftcontains "w.ll" without wildcards

2) Adding the following text above the examples at the end of the section:
NOTE: Wildcard indicators and qualifiers MAY be token boundaries. How text with wildcard indicators and qualifiers is tokenized is implementation-defined.
Comment 2 Jim Melton 2007-03-16 19:12:55 UTC
In meeting 139, the Task Force agreed to add an example as suggested in http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=3934#c1

We are marking this bug FIXED and hope that you agree and will mark it CLOSED.
