Description Michael Rys 2006-10-31 21:47:22 UTC
The spec currently says: "XML documents may contain highly-structured data (numbers, dates), unstructured data (untagged free-flowing text), and semi-structured data (text with embedded tags)."

Not aligned with standard terminology where semi-structured data is not including ordered, mix markup data.... I propose to reword:

"XML documents may contain highly-structured data (fixed schemas, known types such as numbers, dates), semi-structured data (flexible schemas and types), markup data (text with embedded tags), and unstructured data (untagged free-flowing text)."
