Description Joanne Tong 2006-06-23 10:04:11 UTC
Second paragraph in section 18.2.1 reads:
"The default namespace (as declared by xmlns) may be designated as an extension namespace by including #default in the list of namespace prefixes."

It doesn't mention what happens if the parent element has no default namespace. A new error should be added to disallow this.

thanks,
Joanne Tong

The XSL WG met to consider this bug and agreed that an error should be added to cover this case.
Comment 2 David Marston 2006-06-23 14:18:04 UTC
Would you broaden XTSE1430 to cover this situation or assign a new code?
Comment 3 Michael Kay 2006-07-02 03:07:30 UTC
The description of error XTSE1430 has been extended to cover this case.

The specification has been updated, so I will close this report.
