In http://www.w3.org/TR/xquery/#id-errors we read: err:XQST0045 It is a static error if the function name in a function declaration is in one of the following namespaces: http://www.w3.org/XML/1998/namespace, http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema, http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance, http://www.w3.org/2005/xpath-functions, http://www.w3.org/2005/xpath-datatypes. As such, K-FunctionProlog-1 should still raise XQST0045, but XQTS 0.9.4 doesn't expect an error. Thanks, Marc
There seem to be somekind of editorial error in the spec in this area. I actually think the test is right and the spec is wrong. See: http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=3410 Frans
I'm resolving this bug because I think it's now clear that the spec is wrong(another working group member filed it as a bug) and that the test reflects what is intended. This report can always be reopened. Frans
