Description C. M. Sperberg-McQueen 2006-03-29 17:01:23 UTC
The Other References of XSLT 2.0
(http://www.w3.org/TR/xslt20/#other-references) include
a refererence to RFC 3023.

RFC 3023 was published in January 2001, and while I do not
find an expiration date in the text, it is subject to
obsolescence and replacement by a newer RFC, and indeed there
are reports that a new version of the RFC is in preparation.

I think the reference should be changed to specify
RFC 3023 or its successor(s) on the IETF standards track.

The comment was accepted. In fact, the change had already been made to the editor's draft on the basis of a previous decision of the joint WGs.
