The normative references to XML Schema 1.0 in Appendix E1 of the XPath book are to the first edition of 2001, not to the latest editions incorporating errata.

Thanks for your comment.  We have agreed that all references to W3C specifications will use the undated URIs unless there is a reason to reference a specific (dated) version.  We trust that this action will meet with your approval; if so, please change the status of this bug to CLOSED.

I neglected to state clearly that my earlier response represents the official decision by the XML Query WG and the XSL WG.  Sorry for the omission.
