Description C. M. Sperberg-McQueen 2006-02-11 00:57:54 UTC
This issue was originally reported by Ben Clemens.

This was R-164
(http://www.w3.org/2001/05/xmlschema-rec-comments.html#pfiPrimerPOXmp).

The address example should be changed not to use decimal for Zip
codes.

See the following:
http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-xml-schema-comments/2002AprJun/0172.html

Resolved at the 2003-07-31 telecon to defer to 1.1, and to suggest to
the editor that she use postal codes to illustrate patterns.

The underlying issue applies to both Structures and Datatypes. This
Bugzilla entry is for Structures.
Comment 1 C. M. Sperberg-McQueen 2006-09-18 20:08:58 UTC
Examining the original comment and its treatment in the
old Rec Comments list and the 1.1 Requirements list, I conclude
that it landed here in error (possibly due to an error during the
mass data transfer into Bugzilla from the old Requirements
document. The original comment applies to the primer, and only
the primer, not to Structures and not to Datatypes.

Accordingly, I am marking this RESOLVED / INVALID. If anyone
objects to this disposition, they should re-open it and explain
what they believe needs to be done to Structures to support the
resolution of the issue.

The Primer issue is bug 2161.
