Description Jerome Simeon 2006-01-18 23:24:22 UTC
There are 3 extra characters at the beginning of the expected result file for
fn-codepoints-to-string1args-1.

The first character should be a 'b'.

Jerome:

I do not see thsoe spaces. I re-ran the test and the first characte is
"b" as you indicated though. Please close bug if you are ok with
results.

Jerome:

Please comment further on this if you still have an issue with it.
I can not find the extra spaces you mentioned. I will mark the
bug as fixed for the time being.

Thanks,
Carmelo

It may have been an artifact of the 0.8.4 zip file. I'll check
on the next version of the test suite.
Thanks,
- Jerome

I still have the same problem on the same file in 0.8.6.

In emacs, it looks like the following:

\357\273\277b\303\237\332\222\343\201\215\357\244\200

Although in some editors, it appears as, with the 3 first characters being
ignored (not sure how it will show here on bugzilla):

bßڒき豈

Jerome:

If you have any means to fix this, by all means go ahead. I have no idea
what is going on, though will keep on checking.

Jerome et all:

Founded the extra characters and removed them from the expected out put file.
Please close the bug if in agreement.

Thanks,
