audio: does this assume it's an audio element with the "controls" attribute? If it's an audio element with no rendered controls, I'm assuming it should be not mapped.

This should hook into https://html.spec.whatwg.org/multipage/embedded-content.html#expose-a-user-interface-to-the-user rather than the controls attribute, since controls can be shown or not independent of the attribute.
