  The result seems wrong. The input is:
    xs:double(1267.43233E12) cast as xs:float
  The result is:
    1.26743237E15
  It seems that the last digit 7 should be a 3.

The result does not seem to have changed in 0.8.4.
Was it overlooked somehow?

It is possible that CVS mishandled the commit.  A while back I had some
trouble with CVS.  I will work on it again.

Re-ran the test and got teh same result.  IK am not sure why the implemenation 
I using is changing the value. I tend to agree with you, so will make the 
change.
