Description Anne 2013-07-10 19:15:56 UTC
Please learn from e.g. http://dom.spec.whatwg.org/ and have convenient links to file bugs and view open bugs. Took me sad minutes and I sorta know what I'm doing.

(I think I started to dig into this when I got my editor bit, but was distracted by other shiny things.)

It would be swell to have support for this in the respec sotd.html template.

Right now we could add it to the spec with:

  <section id='sotd'>
    <p>
      <a href="https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/enter_bug.cgi?product=WebAppsWG&component=Indexed%20Database%20API">File a bug</a>
      (<a href="https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/buglist.cgi?product=WebAppsWG&component=Indexed%20Database%20API&bug_status=NEW&bug_status=ASSIGNED&bug_status=REOPENED">open bugs</a>)
      </p>
    </section>

... but ideally we could do this by declaring the two URLs in the respecConfig and they'd show in the "If you wish to make comments regarding this document..." paragraph, along with the discussion link.

Fixed in https://dvcs.w3.org/hg/IndexedDB/rev/0072befa50cc

https://dvcs.w3.org/hg/IndexedDB/raw-file/default/Overview.html

I cribbed from the text Art added to the CR http://www.w3.org/TR/2013/CR-IndexedDB-20130704/ (plus new/open links) but it's in the template now so should show up automagically for future updates to the spec. Still think it should be in the respec template.
