Description Sandy Gao 2005-09-14 19:38:51 UTC
The errata for the language data type in http://www.w3.org/TR/2004/PER-
xmlschema-2-20040318/datatypes-with-errata.html#language contains an error in
the pattern definition. The closing round bracket is missing:

The lexical space of language is the set of all strings that conform to the
pattern ([a-zA-Z]{1,8}(-[a-zA-Z0-9]{1,8})*

Comment 1 Sandy Gao 2005-09-15 17:20:02 UTC
Fixed in the published second edition by removing the leading open bracket '('.
Propose to mark this as resolved/fixed.
Comment 2 Sandy Gao 2005-09-19 21:00:41 UTC
Discussed during 2005-09-16 telecon and the WG determined that this was fixed
in the published second edition.
