The tests listed below expect XPDY0002. Shouldn't XPST0008 also not be listed 
as a possible error?
XPST0008: It is a static error if an expression refers to an element name, 
attribute name, schema type name, namespace prefix, or ***variable name*** that 
is not defined in the static context, except within an ElementTest or an 
AttributeTest.
