Description Larry Masinter 2012-10-13 21:43:22 UTC
No need to fork specs and confuse everyone by defining "URL" as something different from "IRI".

Instead, submit bugs, proposed edits to documents, or even volunteer editor/co-author.

That has been tried and I feel it's time for a new approach. Feel free to obsolete my work by doing a better job at the IETF, I just want the URL problem to go away.
