This is with Ubuntu 11.04.

1. Start an Amaya document
2. Alt-Tab to a Gnome 3 Terminal
3. Highlight something in the terminal, such as a file name.
4. Hit Ctrl+Ins
5. Alt-Tab back to Amaya
6. Hit Ctrl-L Ctrl-L to add a link
7. Hit Ctrl-V to paste the highlighted item from the terminal
8. Now use the cursor keys. Note that they no longer work but insert ĻĺļĽ
