This is an archived snapshot of W3C's public bugzilla bug tracker, decommissioned in April 2019. Please see the home page for more details.
The above URL has an ampersand tht is in the markup as '&' and not '&' and the validator doesn't detect it (eg, Line 61, Column 174). However, the same HTML page with a misspelt tage (<aronym> instead of <acronym> on Line 61, col 451) throws up the mispelt tag aerror as well as the original ampersand error. This can be viewed in this URL: http://www.dullneon.com/_psychosis-arcs/2005/07/__bug-example_a.php (sorry i could not strip it down to a simpler html page, as i am a bit pressed for time.)
This is fixed in the version currently in beta test, see: http://validator.w3.org:8001/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dullneon.com%2F_psychosis- arcs%2F2005%2F07%2F__bug-example_a.php Thanks
