During a recent teleconference we agreed to add the rns: namespace prefix into the table of namespace prefixes in section 1.1 and state that it referred to an import from a Web Service description (WSDL document) based on its use in the interface attribute values in the example in section 2.3.3 Participant Types. However, I note that the example in section 2.5.2.3 Interaction syntax is inconsistent with this and uses the tns: namespace prefix for values of the same interface attribute. Is this inconsistency acceptable or should I fix the example in 2.5.2.3 to use rns: for its interface attribute values, or should I leave the table in section 1.1 alone and change the example in section 2.3.3 to use tns: instead of rns: ???
14 May 05In section 1.1 Notational Conventions added row to namespace prefix table: rns (various) A namespace prefix used to refer to an (example and fictitious) WSDL interface specification. In section 2.5.2.3 Interaction syntax in example added rns: namespace assignment and removed ashwini and changed tns: to rns: for the interface attribute values: <package xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2004/12/ws-chor/cdl" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:rns="http://www.example.com/ConsumerRetailerChoreographyIFsample" xmlns:tns="http://www.example.com/ConsumerRetailerChoreographysample" targetNamespace="http://www.example.com/ConsumerRetailerChoreographysample" name="ConsumerRetailerChoreography" version="1.0"> <roleType name="Consumer"> <behavior name="consumerForRetailer" interface="rns:ConsumerRetailerPT"/> <behavior name="consumerForWarehouse" interface="rns:ConsumerWarehousePT"/> </roleType> <roleType name="Retailer"> <behavior name="retailerForConsumer" interface="rns:RetailerConsumerPT"/> </roleType>
