Currently the text track cue alignment value is only used to determine the computed (text/x) position of a cue, so for instance a text position of 0 coupled with 'start' alignment (w/ appropriate size) will render the same as a text position of 50 with 'middle' alignment and a size of 100.

It would seem appropriate that text track cue alignment also affect the alignment of the text in the cue - for instance as if using 'text-align'.
