In section titled "application/microdata+json" (currently (2011-08-28) 
numbered 6.1), the phrase "as such" doesn't fit:

  Labeling a resource ... asserts that the resource is a JSON text 
  that consists of ..., the objects being of the same form as the 
  objects in the aforementioned "items" entry.	As such, the relevant 
  specifications are the JSON specification and this specification.

(The construction "as such" makes sense only when the subject of the current
sentence is the type of thing described in the preceding text.	(Think of 
"as such" as "as such a thing" and it will be clearer where it does and 
doesn't fit.)

Clearly, the specifications are not a JSON text or JSON objects, so "as 
such" makes no sense at that point in the text.  The text needs some other
conjunction or transition phrase (e.g., "therefore").)
