Examples, the data type "monetaryAmount"

The monetaryAmount type works well for some currencies (USD, EUR,...), but does
not work for others (Yen,...). Please generalize. The number of fractional
digits needed currently is 0, 2, or 3. So instead of "/d+/./d{2}" please write
s.t. like "/d+/./d{2-3}?"

The schema includes the comment

and it's clearly a toy. Whilst I agree with the spirit of the comment,
getting the example right is tricky and requires meticulous attention
to detail. I'm not inclined to change it for this reason.
