I was a bit confused when filing bug 13326. The offending bit: "The muted attribute on the video element controls the default state of the audio channel of the media resource, potentially overriding user preferences."

This is only editorial, but since it's the first thing you see when looking at http://www.whatwg.org/specs/web-apps/current-work/multipage/the-video-element.html#attr-media-muted it would be nice if it also included <audio>.
