Description Joanne Tong 2005-05-03 13:14:47 UTC
The last bullet in section 17.1.2 "Casting to xs:string and xdt:untypedAtomic"
of the F&O spec is
"In all other cases, TV is the [XML Schema Part 2: Datatypes Second Edition]
canonical representation of SV. For datatypes that do not have a canonical
lexical representation defined an implementation dependent canonical
representation may be used."

There should be a reference to the canonical representations of
xdt:yearMonthDuration and xdt:dayTimeDuration in this (or another) bullet.

Closing bug because commenter has not objected to the resolution posted and more than two weeks have passed.
