Description Ralf Hauser 2003-01-27 09:19:45 UTC
When I click the validate xhtml link on the above URL, everything is fine.

When I save the html to my desktop and then validate it with
http://validator.w3.org/file-upload.html, I get
<<Errors: 1

    * Note: The Validator XML support has some limitations.

This page is not Valid XHTML 1.1!

Below are the results of attempting to parse this document with an SGML parser.

   1. Line 8, column 6: end tag for "head" which is not finished (explain...).

Won't be looked at for 0.6.2. Setting target to 0.7.0 for review in that timeframe.
Comment 2 Terje Bless 2004-09-01 13:16:11 UTC
Nominating for review for 0.7.0 release.
Comment 3 Olivier Thereaux 2004-09-08 02:40:55 UTC
The test case given in the "URL" field now gives a 404.

The sample document does not exist and I fail to see the relevance of the
Mozilla bug here. The Validator will complain if a document lacks a title
element regardless of how you validate the document; maybe you validated the
wrong file or your user agent made changes to the document when saving it to
disk?
